NEW SERIES – March 2015
The Sheriffs are Coming is back on BBC One at 11am for a fourth series, with five 45 minute episodes from Monday 16th through to Friday 20th March.
Highlights of the new series include:
- Enforcement of a £35,000 debt against a major credit card company – how on earth will they pay?
Eviction of squatters who had barricaded themselves into an old pub, where the cellar and electrics were flooding – will sparks fly?
- In a race for payment between our enforcement agent and another bailiff – who will be the winner?
- A chocolate shop and Thai restaurant – could the enforcement agents take payment in kind?
- Will we find the doctor who just locked the doors and left without paying his locum after being struck off by the General Medical Council?
About the programme
To date there have been three daytime and two primetime series.
Due to the success of series one in March 2012 (25% of all viewers watched the show), the BBC commissioned a second series, with 15 45 minute episodes, first broadcast in January 2013 – and viewed by a massive 31%!
Series 3 (ten 45 minute episodes) in January 2014 and the two primetime series of four one-hour specials in July 2013 and August 2014 have also been hugely popular.
So far 30 million viewers have watched The Sheriffs Are Coming!
